Learn entry level job skills in making rubber stamps, including experimentation with custom stamp designs and polymer clay molds.  **NEW**  Introduction to Laser Engraving for trophies, plaques and name badges.
Also includes an introduction to offset printing-press operation, as well as Macintosh & personal computer (PC) instruction.  Job readiness skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving and communication are reinforced daily.

Classroom instruction and shop experience includes:
Safety, tools / equipment, computer typesetting, forming stamp dies, set-up / operation of printing procedures, Laser Engraver setup and operation,  Mac / personal computer (PC) instruction, and job search.

Equipment used includes:
Matrix/rubber Vulcanizer, "Merigraph" exposure system, Pre-ink "Flash" system, graphic arts camera, digital camera, offset printer, Co2 Laser Engraver, PC & MacPro computers.

Software:
Corel Draw, Photoshop CS4, PageMaker, InDesign CS4, MS Word, Freehand, and Illustrator CS4

This is an open entry/open exit class located at a business site. There is no fee & you can enroll anytime at the Ready Stamps location.

This class is open  to everyone 16 years and over.  High school students can earn up to 3 credits. Individualized program lets you learn at your own pace.
