Conventional stamps are perhaps the most identifiable rubber stamp type. 
They are easily recognized by their "wooden mount", and molded or black lacquered handle.

Use Tip:  Clean your stamp die with a mild soap solution and an old soft tooth brush.  Do not use solvents (mineral spirits, paint thinner, etc.)

Conventional stamps are generally lower in cost than other stamp types,
but are less convenient since they require a separate ink pad.
